Dave Dubberly - Drums
Dave is what you would call, a pro. He studied Music at Wallace State CC, as well as played in several bands for the school. He has experience in live and studio performance. Dave is also a worship leader and is currently involved in Daystar’s Worship Team.
Karen McReath - Voice
Karen has been involved in music for many years. She was a member of the Wallace State and Athens State Choirs. She has taught voice at Tony’s School of Music, led Praise & Worship, and is a vital part of Daystar’s Worship Team.
Derek Sellers - Guitar
Derek is currently pursuing a music technology degree at UAB. He has won State Teen Talent on several occasions, and has represented Alabama at International Teen Talent twice. Derek plays for many events in the community as well as for Daystar's Worship Department. He works as the Website Administrator at Daystar, and is actively involved in the Worship department, both as a band leader and musician.
Barry Leith - Bass
Barry is a self-taught musician who has performed both locally and nationally for over twenty-five years. He attended college on a full music scholarship specializing in upright and electric bass. Barry has been involved with numerous recording projects as an artist and a studio musician including Jazz, R&B, Rock and other genres. He is also involved in Daystar Worship Team.
Emily Smith - Piano
Emily has studied both classical harp and piano. She has experience as a Praise & Worship leader, and is a member of Daystar’s Worship Team. Emily has been involved in studio work, and has taught from home for many years.
