Best Thing Someone Said to You: “You have been an inspiration to me and I am a children’s minister because of you and your ministry”

Life Motto:  Do your very best, where you are, with what you have

Three  People I’d Like to Meet: Billy Graham, John Wooden, Kirk Cameron

My Hero: It would have to be Billy Graham, Dr James Dobson (Focus on the Family) or John Wooden – other than Jesus Christ, of course!

One of My Greatest Experiences with God: The evening he called me to children’s ministry and gave me a vision of what my ministry would be like. This was at a children’s conference in September of 1989 at Mt Paran Church of God in Atlanta. Tommy Barnett and Doug Anderson were the speakers. It was the most real and powerful God-experience of my life – if I ever get discouraged in ministry – I always fall back to that evening!

Most People Don’t Know This About Me: I was adopted from the Church of God children’s home in Sevierville Tn. when I was less than a year old. I met for the first time, my 3 biological siblings (which were all placed for adoption separately) when I was 25 years old. We had a reunion with our biological mother, who still resides in Pennsylvania, one year later. Our father committed suicide before we were placed for adoption – he tried many times to kill us all, but God’s hand was obviously on our lives!
