Daystar Talent Search Process
Thank you for taking time to look through the process of getting involved with Daystar Worship. Our desire is to create an atmosphere of worship that will change lives. We want to raise up worship leaders for this purpose. The first phase of the involvement process is Craft. The Talent Search exists to evaluate the craft of individuals who want to be part of Daystar Worship. Please read through the process below and then register for the next Worship Orientation Meeting.
1.
Become
a member of Daystar Church.
2.
After
becoming a member, go to www.daystarchurch.tv/talentsearch and register for the upcoming Worship Orientation Meeting.
3.
Attend
the Worship Orientation Meeting.
4.
Sign
up for a time slot at the Talent Search.
This will be confirmed via email
5.
Practice
and prepare for the Talent Search by accessing provided music and charts.
6.
Participate
in the Talent Search.
7.
You
will receive your results by email after the Talent Search.
8. Based
on your results, you will receive one of three answers:
a. No
b. Choir (for vocalists)
c. IEP
Process
9. The
IEP stands for Individual Equipping Plan and is the beginning of the process
for those whose craft has been evaluated as having platform potential.
10. The
IEP process does not have a designated time frame. IEP includes meetings with
Worship Staff, Equip Worship classes, equipping materials and possible
coaching.
11.
IEP
placement is not guarantee of platform placement- it is possible to enter the
IEP process and still not be placed on a Daystar platform.
12.
During
the IEP process, each member is responsible to complete “A Worshiper’s
Foundation” and “A Worshiper’s Character” before platform ministry can be
approved.
13.
Once
platform approved, Worship Operations will schedule you for a platform
orientation as well as a time to shadow your instrument/vocalist at the service
you would be participating in.
14.
Placement
on a weekend worship team is determined by pastoral approval and is selected
from our current worship team members.
